ABOUT

beyon wren moor (she/her) is a Cree, two-spirit, multidisciplinary artist and Indigenous activist. Originally from her home territories in Northern Manitoba, she now resides at the queer arts collective known as Lupinewood located on Pocumtuc Lands (western massachusettes). She is a self-taught painter, contemporary and traditional Cree tattooer, bookbinder, animator, printmaker, installation artist, and musician. Several currents run through her work: Indigenouseness and its relationship to colonial genocide; the poverty, violence, and mental illness that shaped her upbringing; queerness; and querying of binaries.
